To power the device with an auxiliary power source and separately connect to the network:
Connect the Ethernet M12-X RJ45 (M12-CBL-ETH/5) cable to the device and to your computer or switch.
Connect the M12-A cable (M12-CBL-PWRIO/3) to the device and a 24 V power adapter; then, plug in the 24 V power adapter. Alternatively, connect the M12-A cable to the device and the open-end wires to a 24 V DIN rail adapter.
