Use the internal laser scanner to capture barcode data.
To read a barcode, a scan-enabled app is required. The device contains the DataWedge app that allows the user to enable the scanner to decode barcode data and display the barcode content.
Ensure that an application is open on the device and a text field is in focus (text cursor in text field).
Point the scan exit window at a barcode.
Press the trigger button.
Ensure the red scan beam covers the entire barcode. The Charging/Scan LED Indicators illuminate green and a beep sounds to indicate a successful decode.
