Pre-installing the Window's Driver
Pre-installing the printer driver is an important first step in setting up your printer.
The Windows Printer Driver v8 has been preloaded
Navigate to
www.zebra.com/drivers
.
Click
Printers
.
Select your printer model.
On the printer product page, click
Drivers
.
Download the appropriate driver for Windows.
The driver executable file (such as zd86423827-certified.exe) is added to your Download folder.
Run the executable file and follow the prompts.
Review the settings before continuing and the drivers will finish pre-loading after setting the checkboxes.
To pre-install the drivers only:
Unselect
Run the printer installation wizard
to disable running the print wizard until the printer is operating without a computer.
Click
Finish
.
The drivers will be pre-installed and the window will close automatically went finished.
