Movement during scanning

Movement during scanning

In general, Zebra 3S80-4M and 3S80-4L can be mounted on moving constructions or robotic arms, since they are able to capture dynamic scenes as well as static scenes. Both the devices and the scenes can be in motion or vibrating.
It is possible to mount Zebra 3S40 sensors on moving constructions or robotic arms; however, it is necessary to stop the movement during the acquisition. Movement of the sensor during the projection of light patterns causes a loss of quality and interferes with depth calculation. Make sure the device and the scanned area are still during the acquisition. If vibrations are present, use a damping apparatus to isolate the sensor's mounting from the source of the vibrations. Acceleration and deceleration forces according to the sensor’s environment restrictions should be taken into account when designing the mount for the sensor. The maximum acceleration allowed during operation (not including the scanning process) is up to 20 ms
