It is strongly recommended that prior to use, you must format the microSD card on the device.
Copy the System Update zip file to the root of the microSD card.
Copy the ZIP file to a microSD card using a host computer, and then install the microSD card into the device. See Installing a microSD Card.
Connect the device with a microSD card already installed to the host computer, copy the ZIP file to the microSD card, and then disconnect the device from the host computer.

until the menu appears.
Touch
Restart

Press and hold
PTT
until the device vibrates.
The System Recovery screen appears.
Press
Volume Up
and
Volume Down
to navigate to
Apply upgrade from SD card
.
Press
Power
.
Press
Volume Up
and
Volume Down
to navigate to the System Update file.
Press
Power
. The System Update installs and then the device returns to the Recovery screen.
