Zebra recommends connecting the USB-A end of the power cable to Zebra power supply (p/n PWR-WUA5V120XX). Use a power supply and outlet that provides at least 5 V, 1 A of power to the charger.
If the 2-Bay Charger is connected to a power supply that provides less than 1A, the charger enters
low-current mode
. In low-current mode:
The top slot does not provide power to the charging slot. Its LED indicator blinks red.
The bottom slot works as normal to charge a ring scanner or spare battery.
