( Battery Control button) — Used to manage the batteries inside and outside the printer. | |
To apply power to the battery... | Press and release Battery Control .Wakes up the battery from Sleep mode or Shutdown mode by applying power. The battery self-checks health and charge status. and displays the level of battery charge for 10 seconds immediately after the internal battery health checks are complete. The battery indicators all flash on and off together three times. At this point, you have one minute to turn printer power ON, by pressing the printer's POWER button. If the button is not pressed within that timeframe, the battery returns to Sleep mode or Shutdown mode. |
To enter Shutdown Mode... | Press and hold Battery Control for 10 – 11 seconds and release.The battery begins to shut down. Approximately three seconds later, all battery LEDs flash three times to indicate that the battery has shut down. |
(Battery Health Indicator) — Displays the battery’s charging status and health of the battery. | |
Green | Good health. Battery is fully charged and ready to operate. |
Amber | Charging. Printer power is OFF. |
Red | Battery has run into an internal error. Remove the battery and see Troubleshooting. |
Red, flashing | Charging error—the battery is over or under temperature or there is an internal monitoring error or some other fault. |
(Battery Charge Level Indicator) — Displays the battery’s charging status and health of the battery. | |
Green, all three bars lighting steady | The battery is fully charged. |
Green, two bars steady green with the top green bar flashing. | The battery is at less than full charge. |
Green, one green bar flashing | It is time to charge the battery. |
Amber | The battery is charging. |
No bar is lit up. | The battery needs charging, but the Battery Health indicator flashes when Battery Control is pressed. The printer cannot be turned on. See Troubleshooting. |
