Using UPS Mode

The printer receives external power from the battery circuitry when it is connect to a battery base and external battery.
  1. Press
    Battery Control
    to wake up the battery and check if it has charge.
    If printer power is turned OFF, the battery goes to sleep after 60 seconds.
  2. Turn the printer ON and OFF as you normally would.
    You do not have to turn battery power ON or OFF to operate the printer.
