Cleaning Supplies

The following printer cleaning supplies are recommended for use with your printer:

Printhead cleaning pens
For routine printhead cleaning.
99.7% min. pure isopropyl alcohol
Use a labeled alcohol dispenser.
Never re-moisten cleaning materials used to clean the printer. Always use clean supplies.
Fiber-free cleaning swabs
To clean the media path, guides, and sensors.
Cleaning wipes
To clean the media path and interior (for example, Kimberly-Clark Kimwipes)
Can of compressed air
DO NOT use an air compressor in place of the can of compressed air. Air compressors have micro-contaminants and particles that can get into the air system and damage your printer.
To avoid product damage and risk of personal injury, follow the precautions included in each cleaning procedure when cleaning the printer.
