Programming Management Tools

This section describes the tools available for programming the MP72.

123Scan (see 123Scan and Software Tools for more information).

If an MP72 scans a programming 2D barcode generated by 123Scan, it only programs the MP72. An attached CFS and/or auxiliary scanner (for example, the DS8178) must be programmed separately.

SMS - An SMS package is a file that, when used with the SMS agent, manages a scanner remotely by programming parameters and updating firmware. An SMS package is similar to a zip file and includes three components:
