Removing the Battery

  1. Press and hold the Power button until the menu appears.
  2. Touch
    Power off
    .
  3. Lift the notched corner of the battery cover.

  4. Carefully lift the battery cover off the device.

  5. On the 8.4 inch version, push the two locking tabs (1) up, then pull up on the tab (2) to remove battery.
  6. On the 10.1 inch version, push the two locking tabs up (1), then lift the battery up (2).
