Rugged Boot

The rugged boot provides additional protection to the device.

If you want to charge the device with a rugged boot, first remove the charging cradle shim and then install the rugged boot onto the device.

To install the rugged boot:

Align the scanner exit window on the device with the scanner exit window opening of the rugged boot.

Insert the bottom of the device into the bottom of the rugged boot and push down to snap the device into the rugged boot.

Once the device is pushed in all the way at the bottom, push the top of the device into the top of the rugged boot to snap it into place.
