Inserting/Removing the Battery

The battery ships separately from the scanner. Place the battery into the
DS4678
.
  1. Unlock the battery cover.
    Use a disk (for example, a coin) to rotate the lock counterclockwise.
  2. Remove the battery cover.
  3. Insert/remove the battery.
  4. Replace the battery cover.
  5. Lock the battery cover.
    Use a disk (for example, a coin) to rotate the lock clockwise.
  6. Charge the battery before use.
