ASCII values under 32 are normally sent as a control-key sequence (see ASCII Character Sets). Select 
Enable Function Key Mapping
 to send the keys in bold instead of the standard key mapping. Table entries that do not have a bold equivalent remain the same regardless of whether you enable this parameter.
