Upgrading firmware will not work if you selected the scanner model #.
Select the
Advanced
tab and browse to a .dat file, which is the firmware file you wish to install on your scanner.
Click
Update
.
Wait until the Progress Bar is complete. If the progress bar moves too fast, it means, the firmware version being downloaded already resides on the device. Verify the version name is different, prior to downloading the new firmware.
Once the firmware is downloaded, click
Launch
.
You will see the new firmware being installed (Red LED flashing) and the scanner rebooting with the new firmware.
