Recording Videos on Android 13

This section describes how to use the video feature on the Camera app.
See Video Settings for setting descriptions.
  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen and touch
    Camera
     .
  2. Touch
    Video
     to access Video mode.

  3. To switch between the rear camera and front camera, touch .
  4. Point the camera and frame the scene.
  5. Touch an area on the screen to focus. The yellow focus box displays and places that area into focus. Alternatively,
    AutoFocus Animation
     can be enabled in
    Settings
    , and the yellow focus box automatically appears when in focus.
  6. To turn the Flash on, touch the   icon, which can also be accessed via the Quick Settings Menu.
  7. To zoom in or out, press two fingers on the display and pinch or expand fingers. The zoom controls appear on the screen.
  8. Touch the
    Record
     button. The video timer is displayed in the upper-left corner.
  9. Touch the
    Record
     button to end the recording.
    The video momentarily displays as a thumbnail in the upper-right corner.
