Installing the Rugged Frame

This section provides steps for installing the device into the Rugged Frame.

Open the access cover.

If installing the Rugged IO Adapter, pull the access cover away from the device until it separates from the device.

Insert the Rugged IO Adapter (2) onto the tablet interface connector (1).

Remove the Rugged Frame and screws from box.

Separate the top and bottom sections of the Rugged Frame.

Place the bottom section on a flat surface.

Place the device into the bottom section.

Align the top section over the bottom section.

Press the top section down onto the bottom section.

Using a T6 Torx screwdriver, secure the Rugged Frame together using the provided M1.6 Torx screws.

Secure 8 in. Rugged Frame

Secure 10 in. Rugged Frame

Torque the screws to 12 N-cm.
