Before using the device for the first time, charge the main battery until the green Charging/Notification light emitting diode (LED) remains lit. To charge the device use a cable or a cradle with the appropriate power supply.
Charge batteries in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F). The device or accessory always performs battery charging in a safe and intelligent manner. At temperatures below 20°C (-4°F) or above 45°C (113°F), charging slows to optimize the JEITA requirements of the cell. Charging stops when the temperature is below 0°C (32°F) or above 50°C (122°F). The device shuts down at 58°C (136°F). The device or accessory indicates when charging is disabled due to abnormal temperatures via its LED and a notification appears on the display.
