When the scanner's battery reaches the defined level, and beaconing activates, the scanner enters a power-saving mode. In the power-saving mode:
pressing the trigger does not result in a scan
sending data to and from the host device fails
To end the power-saving mode:
place the scanner in a charger
replace the battery with one that is more fully charged
If the scanner battery reaches 0%, a beacon signal cannot be sent to recover the scanner.
