Sound and Vibration Options

Sound and Vibration Options

You can configure various sound and vibration settings on the device.
  • Media volume
     - Controls the music, games, and media volume.
  • Call volume
     - Controls the volume during a call.
  • Ring volume
     - Controls the ring volume of calls.
  • Alarm volume
     - Controls the alarm clock volume.
  • Notifications volume
     - Controls the notification volume.
  • Do Not Disturb
     - Mutes some or all sounds and vibrations.
  • Media
     - Shows the media player in Quick Settings while sound is playing, allowing quick access.
  • Vibrations and haptics
     - Customize the device's vibration settings.
  • Default notification sound
     - Select a sound to play for all system notifications.
  • Default alarm sound
     - Select a sound to play for alarms.
  • Other sounds and vibrations:
    • Screen locking sounds
       - Play a sound when locking and unlocking the screen (default – enabled).
    • Charging sounds and vibration
       - Play a sound and vibrates when power is applied to the device (default - enabled).
    • Tap & click sounds
       - Play a sound when making screen selections (default – enabled)
    • Always show icon when in vibrate mode
       - The vibrate icon displays when vibrate mode is enabled.
