Alert: PRINTHEAD SHUTDOWN

Condition

The printhead has had a printhead circuit fault protection shutdown.

Cause

has shut down due to critically high temperatures to protect the printhead.

Remedy

  1. Turn the printer off by holding the
    POWER
     button down for 5 seconds. Wait for the printer to shut down completely. Wait a few minutes for cooling and turn the printer ON.
  2. Replace the printhead if restarting and cooling have not corrected this issue.
  3. Call a service technician if the printer does not recover from this error. This is not an operator serviceable item.
