Configure Supervisor Groups

The
Task Tracker
uses the PTT Pro groups and users to provide its services. The
Task Tracker
identifies which PTT Pro users are authorized to perform supervisor functions through the use of supervisor groups. The customer creates a supervisor group in each department that includes supervisor users. All other users and groups are associates.
The supervisor groups use a naming convention so that
Task Tracker
can identify the group members as supervisors. When the Zebra administrator creates the customer, the Zebra administrator also specifies the supervisor group prefix.  The supervisor groups in PTT Pro must incorporate that prefix string. One possible naming convention:
<Supervisor_group_prefix_string>
.
<Department_name>
The Task Tracker identifies the supervisor groups that match the string. Members of supervisor groups are assigned the supervisor role. All other users and groups are considered associates.
PTT Pro Groups with Supervisor Prefix
Group names with the specified prefix contain supervisors .
If the customer uses a prefix string for supervisor groups, this naming convention can be used as the supervisor prefix in
Task Tracker
. The customer must provide the prefix string to the Zebra support/onboarding representative.
