Using the Portal to Import LAS Data

Use the LAS portal to import the CSV file with the LAS data. After you import the file, you can view the configuration in the portal and verify that the location appears in the PTT Pro client.
  1. Create the CSV file to import into the LAS server.
    See CSV file for a description of the file format.
  2. Log into the LAS portal.
  3. Select
    Import
    to open the
    Import CSV File
    screen.
    Select or use drag-and-drop to add the CSV file.
  4. Select
    Choose CSV
    to upload a file from your computer.
    LAS processes one import file at a time. If you upload a second import file while the first file is being processed, LAS displays a warning.

  5. (Optional) Select the
    Reset?
    checkbox to remove all LAS data before importing the new CSV file.
  6. Select
    Upload
    .
    CSV files with a large amount of data may take several minutes to process. LAS imports files asynchronously and provides updates of the import, including the number of records processed and the overall percentage of completion.

    When the import completes, LAS displays the total number of records and the amount of time it took to process.

  7. Select
    Home
    to view the imported data.
    If you switch tabs during the import process, LAS displays a warning and continues to process the CSV data.
