Class 1/Division 2 Compliant Tablet

ET6x devices that support Class 1/Division 2 requirements can be used in hazardous areas as long as the electronic parts are securely covered. A hazardous area is a location that has a higher risk of explosion and/or fire than a normal industrial area. This is due to the properties of the materials handled or stored there.
The ET6x comes with screws to secure the battery access and USB ports. Ensure that you install the screws before entering a hazardous area.
Only the ET6x tablet or the ET6x tablet with the attached ET6x Keyboard can be used in hazardous locations.
