Adding a New Transfer Ribbon

If ribbon runs out in the middle of a print job, the indicator lights red and the printer waits for you to add a fresh roll.
Keep printer power ON when changing the ribbon so as not to lose the print job that is in progress.
  1. Open the top cover, then cut the used ribbon so you can remove the cores.
  2. Load a new ribbon roll and empty ribbon core. If necessary, review the instructions in Loading the Transfer Ribbon.
    Do NOT USE ribbon cores with a damaged notch. The notches on the core should have square corners.
  3. Close the top cover.
  4. Press the
    Feed
     button to restart printing.
