The printer can be ordered with a wide variety of factory-installed options. Other options are field upgrade kits.
  • Wired and Wireless options (factory installed or field upgrade-able):
    • Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) wireless connectivity.
    • Wi-Fi (802.11ac – includes a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2 (4.1 compatible), and Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) 5.0 wireless connectivity.
    • Internal Ethernet Print Server (LAN, RJ-45 connector) – supports 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and fast Ethernet 10/100 auto-switching networks for wired connectivity.
  • Modular Connectivity Slot for field installable 10/100 Ethernet (802.3 RJ-45) and Serial (RS-232 DB-9) interface options.
    • Internal Ethernet Print Server (LAN, RJ-45 connector) – supports 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and fast Ethernet 10/100 auto-switching networks.
    • Serial (RS-232 DB-9) Port
  • Media handling options (field-installable):
    • Label Dispenser (Peel-Off liner and present the label to the operator)
    • General-purpose media cutter
  • Media Core Adapter kits include adapters for media rolls with outer diameters up to 127 mm (5 in.):
    • 38.1 mm (1.5 in.) inner diameter media cores
    • 50.8 mm (2.0 in.) inner diameter media cores
    • 76.2 (3.0 in.) inner diameter media cores
  • Attached Battery Base with a removable Battery
    • The Attached Battery Base and Battery are sold separately
    • The battery is designed to provide constant regulated power for consistent print quality (darkness-contrast).
    • Includes a Shutdown Mode for shipping and storage
    • Includes battery charge and status indicators built into the battery
  • USB Host Port that can be used for easy firmware updates.
  • USB 2.0 interface
  • Asian language support with printer configuration options for the large Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, or Korean character sets.
  • Zebra ZBI 2.0 (Zebra BASIC Interpreter) programming language. ZBI allows you to create custom printer operations that can automate processes, use peripherals (for example, scanners, scales, keyboards, Zebra ZKDU, etc.) all without being attached to a PC or network.
