Enabling Dynamic Configuration

The var_location tag enables dynamic configuration and reduces the entire profile section of the
WFConnect.xml
 file to one line.

location is for demonstration purposes. The actual file location may vary.
You can also set var_location in the Zebra Voice Client by going to
Three line menu icon

When Zebra Voice initializes and parses the XML file, this tag instructs the device to retrieve the wfcvariable.xml file from the stated location. The location can be:
  • A local file on the mobile device
    • Provisioned by an MDM
    • Side loaded manually
  • A URL
