MOTD is the ability of a PTT Pro user to send a message with an audio or video file to a list of recipients. When the recipients log on, or when the message is received, the attached media file is played on the recipient’s device. The media file can be replayed as many times as required.
MOTD recipients can be any PTT Pro user with messaging enabled; no additional permissions or group membership is required. Sending a MOTD is supported for group messages, ad hoc messages, and one-to-one messages.
