Channel Width and Power Spectral Density

Channel Width and Power Spectral Density

The following section describes the relationships among Power Spectral Density (PSD), Equivalent Isotropically Radiated Power (EIRP), and channel width.
EIRP = PSD + 10 log (channel width)
For example, with a PSD of 5 dBm/MHz and a channel width of 20 MHz, the EIRP is:
EIRP = 5 dBm/MHz = 10 log (20 MHz) = 5 = 13 =18 dBm
in the following diagrams for illustration purposes only. 320 MHz channels will be added in Wi-Fi 7.
