The 6 GHz band allows network administrators to deploy 14 non-overlapping channels of 80 MHz. This number of channels enables flexibility of AP Layout coverage design without the legacy-bands practices, which require compromises on the channel width. This enables the 6 GHz WLAN environment to maintain less network congestion, thus yielding better application performance and overall user experience. For this reason, it is recommended to use 80 MHz channel widths.
