Integration of the Zebra Locationing Provider Solution

This section describes how to enable the solution. The solution integrator must complete the procedures outlined below.
  • Verify that the WLAN infrastructure vendor (APs) supports FTM and that it is enabled.
Set up and enable the device to match the characteristics of the WLAN FTM-capable infrastructure.
Specific location infrastructures such as 11k, LCI, and LCR may not support the suggested settings. To enable the solution, the device must be provisioned with a predefined configuration based on the supported infrastructure.   • Use the Zebra Locationing Provider APIs inside the target Android location application.
