Downloading the Printer Emulation Zip File

To download the Printer Emulation, follow these steps from your
PC
.
  1. Open a web browser and navigate to: zebra.com/printer-emulations.
  2. Locate your printer type in the list of printers and tap
    Download Now
    , or scroll to Contact Support if support for your printer cannot be found.
  3. Fill out the information on the Printer Emulation Download Request form.
  4. Click
    Submit
    .
  5. Read the End User License Agreement.
  6. Click
    Accept and Begin Download Now

    To download the Printer Emulation, follow these steps from either your
    mobile computer
     or
    PC
    .
The zip file contains the following files:
  • The Printer Emulation .nrd (or .zpl) file to be downloaded to a Zebra printer.
  • Text files (.txt) with the SGD commands to enable and disable the printer emulation.
  • A sample test format that can be sent to the printer when the printer emulation is enabled.
