This parameter allows the programmable button to be used as a camera button to capture images.
  • Disable - The camera button is disabled and cannot be used.
  • Enable - The camera button is enabled and configured for the decode sensor.
  • Enable (color camera) - The camera button is enabled and configured for the color camera sensor. A color camera must be attached for this option to function.
The parameter is valid only when the scanner is in USB SNAPI with Imaging mode (see ).
When the Camera Button is enabled, pressing the programmable button enacts the following sequence:
You can either press and hold the programmable button for half a second or press it briefly twice.
  1. The scanner enters Snapshot Mode.
    • Scanner's LED blinks green in 1-second intervals.
  2. The scanner adjusts to the lighting conditions for more than 2 seconds.
  3. An image is captured with the camera.
  4. The scanner returns to Decode Mode.
