Creating Users in Mitel

Create users from the System Manager.
  1. Log in to System Manager web admin.

  2. Click the
    Log In
     button.
    Login Button
  3. Click
    System Administrator Tool
     button.
    System Admin Tool
  4. In the left pane, click
    Users and Devices
    User and Services Configuration
    .
  5. Click
    Add
     button.
    User Service Configuration
  6. Click
    User Profile
     tab.
  7. Enter the user’s
    First Name
     and
    Last Name
    .
  8. Click
    Service Profile
     tab.
    Service Profile
  9. In the
    Device Type
     drop-down menu, select
    Generic SIP Phone
    .

    To enable or disable certain features, Mitel administrator may need to edit a “Class of Service” entry as well as a “Sip device capabilities” entry. After configuring them according to the customer needs the Mitel administrator must match the edited COS and “SIP device capabilities” as shown in the following figure.

    Service Details
     tab and enter any required service details.

     tab. Make any necessary changes and click the
    Save Changes
     button.
