Message Management

PTT Pro for iOS
 provides messaging between contacts and groups with the ability to include photos and images from the device. Messages are securely stored on the
PTT Pro Server
.
The
Enable Messaging
 option in the Client Settings on the
Workcloud Communication PTT Pro Management Portal
 controls whether the user can send messages. If disabled, the message option is hidden for the user.

When
Enable Messaging
 is disabled:
  • The incoming ZEMS messages and broadcast messages/notifications are still allowed.
  • Sending and receiving broadcast messages are still allowed.
  • Forwarding ZEMS/Broadcast messages is not allowed.
