Power off the ET4X before installing or removing the Payment Sled.
Do not use any tool for battery cover removal. Puncturing the battery or seal may cause a hazardous condition and a potential risk of injury.
Remove the battery cover and store it in a safe place.
Insert the tabbed end of the PD20 Payment Sled into the battery well. Ensure that the tabs on the Payment Sled are aligned with the slots in the battery well.
Rotate the Payment Sled down into the battery well.
Carefully press down around the edges of the Payment Sled. Make sure that the cover is seated correctly.
Using a T5 Torx screwdriver, secure the Payment Sled to the device using four M2 screws.
Insert the PD20 into the Payment Sled.
Align the holes on either side of the PD20 with the holes on the Payment Sled.
Push the PD20 down into the Payment Sled until it sits flat.
Secure the PD20 in place using a Torx T5 screwdriver to attach the screws on either side of the Payment Sled and torque to 1.44 Kgf-cm (1.25 lbf-in).
