Taking Photos on Android 11

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the Home screen and touch Image of camera icon. to access the Camera application. Photo mode is the standard mode that displays.

  2. To switch between the rear camera and front camera, touch .
  3. Frame the subject on the screen.
  4. Touch an area on the screen to focus. The yellow focus box displays and places that area into focus. Alternatively, the AutoFocus Animation can be enabled in the Settings menu, and the yellow focus box automatically appears when in focus.
  5. To turn the Flash on, touch the Image of the Flash icon.   icon, which can also be accessed via the Quick Settings Menu.
  6. To zoom in or out, the following options are available:
    • Tap the
      1.0x
      zoom button to toggle between
      1.0x
      and
      2.0x
      .
    • Press and hold the
      1.0x
      zoom icon until the zoom slider displays. Slide the slider to the desired zoom.
    • Touch and hold an area with two fingers, then spread them apart to zoom in or pinch them together to zoom out.
  7. Touch Image of camera shutter button. to take a photo.
    A shutter sound emits.
The last photo displays as a thumbnail in the lower-left corner.
