If the administrator implements advanced application permissions, only applications permitted to become shortcuts by the administrator are available as options.
To create an application shortcut:
Select
Application
from the shortcut types list.
Select an application and configure its behavior. For example, Chrome provides the ability to open a new window in a new tab or an incognito tab.
Click
Browse Image
and navigate to an image file to use as the custom shortcut icon.
Click
Add Shortcut
and observe the new shortcut icon on the desktop home screen.
