Weights and Measures authorities use event log information to track the history of measurement changes and compare legally relevant parameters and versions to the Type Approval certificate.
The event log is initially written the first time dimensioning software runs on the device and includes a full list of legally relevant parameters and versions. This log cannot be erased and persists through device reboots, enterprise resets, and factory resets.
