A Metrological Change notification is provided whenever a software update or hardware change is made that constitutes a metrological change.

Following a metrological change, the customer should access the Zebra Weights & Measures web site: zebra.com/weights-measures.

What if a customer asks about a metrological change detection dialog message on the device?

The device will detect a metrological change and provide a message (see figure below)

Since there is a metrological change, the device must undergo region-specific re-verification testing and PiT

Care must be taken when rolling out new major versions of the solution bundle

Once a new major version is rolled out, the re-verification and PiT requirement is triggered

Customer can downgrade to the previous version, but the re-verification and PiT requirement still applies (no Undo)
