Adding a Printer via Bluetooth

Zebra Print User Guide

This procedure describes adding a printer to the Zebra Print app using a Bluetooth connection.

Open the Zebra Print app on your Android device, and tap Zprint Plus Icon

to find a printer.

Bluetooth

If Bluetooth is disabled on the Android device, a dialog box alerts you. Tap

Allow

Enable Bluetooth limited pairing mode on the printer by holding the FEED button for 5 seconds, and then tap

Search Printers

to find the printer.

Enabling limited pairing mode enables discovery and pairing for 2 minutes. This allows the printer to operate safely with discoverable mode disabled until a user with physical access to the printer activates it. Upon entering Bluetooth Pairing Mode, the printer provides feedback that the printer is in this mode using one of two methods:

On printers with a Bluetooth screen icon or Bluetooth LED, the printer flashes the Bluetooth icon or LED on and off every second while in pairing mode.

On printers without a Bluetooth screen icon or Bluetooth LED, the printer flashes the Data icon or LED on and off every second while in pairing mode.
