The scanner ships without a regional configuration, and therefore, RFID scanning is disabled. Configure the scanner for your region to enable RFID scanning.
Refer to the Region Of Operation section of the Product Reference Guide and scan the barcode for your region. This enables RFID scanning on the scanner. You can also use 123Scan to configure your scanner to the appropriate region.
