Before mounting the cabinet onto the base unit, it needs to be disassembled. This section provides the disassembly process.
If the base unit is being assembled at the same time as the cabinet, proceed to Base Unit Assembly.
If the cabinet is already assembled and in use:
Disconnect the power to the cabinet and remove devices, chargers, and power supplies (PSUs).
Remove both doors.
Removing the doors makes the cabinet lighter and allows easier access to the feet and wall fixings.
Remove all standard and stadium shelves.
Remove the wall fixings and carefully move the cabinet away from the wall.
Using at least two people, carefully lower the cabinet onto its back.
Do not drop
the cabinet.
Using a 6mm hex bit, remove the four M10 countersunk screws fixing the feet to the base. Retain the screws and the feet for use later in the build.
Remove the two metal components that make up the “U” shaped channel in the base of the cabinet. The bottom rail (2) will not be used and can be stored as a spare or replaced if the base unit is removed.
Replace the bottom rail (2) with the lower rail part (1) included in the kit using the same screws.
