Before mounting the cabinet to the top of the base unit, ensure the floor and wall are flat and square to each other. If not, the floor must be leveled or the cabinet moved to a more suitable location. If the wall is not square, then appropriate spacers can be used where the cabinet wall fixings are located.
Position the base unit where the cabinet is needed, as it is easier to move the base unit into the correct position before mounting the cabinet than afterward when the two are bolted together.
The base unit should be 15mm from the wall, this gap will accommodate the cabinet rear uprights, which need to be touching the wall as they are the parts that are fixed to the wall.
Lift the cabinet onto the base unit using at least two people, aligning the sides and pushing the cabinet back against the wall.
Connect the cabinet to the base unit using the screws originally intended to hold the feet in place.
Bolt the cabinet to the wall using suitable wall fixings.
Install the shelves and return the contents to the cabinet. Reinstate the doors if they have been removed.
Refer to the Intelligent Cabinet Assembly Guide for more information on the cabinet assembly.
This completes the installation and assembly of the base unit.
