Configuring Display Settings

Configuring Display Settings

Configure the
Monitor Resolution
and
Content Size
by right-clicking on the desktop home screen to access the context menu.
  1. Select
    Display Settings
    from the context menu.
  2. Use the sliders to alter the resolution on the external monitor or content size on the
    Display Setting
    screen.
    1. Moving the top
      Monitor Resolution
slider changes the total number of pixels displayed on the secondary monitor.
    2. Moving the bottom
      Content Size
slider impacts the number of pixels used when rendering certain content drawn using a variable number of pixels. Changing the content size is based on the number of pixels and the physical space they are displayed on.
While the resolution and content can be changed during an individual session, this setting can revert to the administrator-configured settings upon docking or undocking the device. Setting a density value over 300 from a managed configuration sets the content size slider to 100%.
When configuring
Display Settings
it is helpful to adjust the bottom slider first and observe the content size to determine its readability. Next, adjust the top slider, confirm the change, and finalize the bottom slider settings.
