Always use high-quality, approved labels and tags. If the adhesive-backed labels being used don’t lay flat on the backing liner, its exposed edges may stick to the printer's internal label guides and rollers. This may cause the label to peel off from the liner and jam the printer.
Permanent damage to the printhead may result if a non-approved ribbon is used. Such ribbons may be wound incorrectly for your printer or contain chemicals that may corrode the printhead.
