You can remove transfer ribbon roll that is not fully used and resume printing with a new roll or another partially-used roll loaded.
Cut the ribbon from the take-up roll.
Remove the take-up roll and discard the used ribbon if you will not be saving it for later. If you will use it later, take the cut end to prevent it from unwrapping.
Remove the fresh ribbon roll and tape the leading end onto the empty-take-up roll to keepit from unwrapping. If reinstalling a partially-used ribbon roll, tape the cut end of the ribbon onto the empty take-up roll.
Close the printer cover.
