The only ways to provide power to the reader are with the Zebra-approved AC-DC power supply, the DC-DC power supply, through a PoE connection via an injector, or to 12-24 VDC directly using the Zebra-approved flying-leads cable or the Zebra-approved auto auxiliary power outlet adaptor (cigarette lighter) cable.
Do not directly connect the reader to the line voltage.
