Server Preparation Overview

The following steps describe how to prepare the machine(s) for Resonate RFID Reader Management installation.

The Resonate RFID Reader Management installer includes a prerequisites checker and setup tool,

setup.sh

, which ensures the machine(s) meet these prerequisites.

Verify that the machine(s) meet minimum requirements.

Create a Zebra SSO account to access the Zebra Artifactory repository and a Zebra Artifactory identity token to run the online installer.

Install the operating system with the specified capacities/partitions/volumes.

Install the prerequisite software.

The

setup.sh

script fetches and installs most required software from the internet. However, you must install some prerequisite software before you run the script.

Configure the machine(s).

After preparing the machines, set up for single-node or multi-node configuration, and then install Resonate RFID Reader Management.
