Illumination Operation

The light supports Deca OverDrive and Standard OverDrive modes based on the duration of the strobe pulse.
Deca OverDrive is the highest LED drive level, but can only be sustained for 1 ms. After 1 ms, ZIML automatically switches to Standard OverDrive, which is half the power of Deca OverDrive. This can be sustained for an additional 3 ms (total strobe duration of 4 ms) before automatically turning off.
The light also supports Hidden Strobe mode, which strobes the light at a high frequency that is not visible to humans, making the light appear constantly powered on.
Exposures greater than 200 μs may cause strobing to become visible to the human eye, even with Hidden Strobe mode enabled.
